Can you recomend A good bike around £300 - 350 range0

Youre really struggling at that price point - only decathlon do a decent ish bike at that price - that I know of. You can either go 2nd hand, or wait and double that budget.
Are you using cleats ? - you should get into the habbit of spinning the pedals and making smooth circles, this will help your speed in the long run.0 -

Saracen Tour 1 is an adequate beginners road bike:
£ 279

Saracen frames are light and well-made in my experience - And RutlandCycling is a reputale cycling etailer - Easy to upgrade the wheels and tyres to some Fulcrum 7's, PlanetXModel B's with some Pro Race 3's or similar - you'd have a nice little bike. For £ 50 you could also get a pair of Carbon forks - get your LBS to fit them.0
