I wouldn't worry so much about the splashes of pink on your Scott when people are riding round on Planet X bikes which are more full on.
Just don't go entering the London to Brighton and you'll be fine
Personally I really like the colour although I'm not sure if I'd be brave enough to buy one (same goes for flourescent green and bright yellows etc).

As for the OP question about jagwire stuff (I let the fashion police deal with the pink for now)
I've used various products from them, the advantage from the cables is actually the quality of the outer cable end caps. They seal the cables really well so nothing gets into the cables...0 -
