I think there is a bike website to help you with planning bike tour routes, which will not only give you the milage planned but also, and this is the bit I really want, gives you a hill profile of the route proposed.

Can anyone help me pls with the name/URL??

I'm not really wanting to buy software, I think there's a free to use website somewhere.....

Thx in advance

If its uk riding, bike route toaster lets you plan your own routes.

  • Or try mapmyride.com
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

I'm liking Bikehike (after not finding it for quite a while, it's .co.uk not .com), The combination of google maps with automatic routing, OS maps and profiling is hard to beat

Ditto. I agree about bikehike, I find it easy to use and it does give me those profiles (see OP).

I've not tried the others yet but I will do. Thx for all the replies.
