Hi,

I'm putting together a self build - more for fun and to hone servicing/set-up skills as I have a full sus bike anyway

I picked up a kona blast frame very cheap and have ebayed or brought a load of stuff
mavic crossride wheels
avid juicy 5 brakes
shimano slx chainset and mechs
gusset slade bars

I was looking to perhaps put some good quality rigid forks (as will use bike for a lot of road stuff and i presume a quality rigid fork will cost less than suspension) but i know nothing about rigid forks

anyone have any advice/suggestions on a good quality rigid fork that would work with above set up. No idea on budget but ideally below £200 - although would go higher if something special came up

also - don't believe the rumour that self builds cost less - it's juts too tempting to get good parts!

thanks
d
