Paddy Kenny got caught a few months back and has just been sentenced, does 9 months seem a bit short? It's usually 2 years minimum for a cyclist...

  • For cycling it's probably due to them being performance related I guess, therefore cheating? Would Have made me laugh if that goalkeeper had taken a performance drug! He took recreational drugs, so possibly thats the reason for a shorter sentence?

I don't actually know the drugs rules in football. How long would a Centre back/striker get banned for for using performance drugs?
    Road: Felt AR0, Di2
    Touring/commute: Dolan Multricross
TT: PX Exocet Sold because it was like a sail in the wind (sh*t)

  • It WAS a PED but they believed that he never meant to take it. He took a cold relief or something similar that contained it.

Since they don't believe he was intentionally cheating, he has a lenient sentence.

His ban is a Month longer than Rio Ferdinands ban was and he did cheat. Hhmm

Ferdinand's was the first of it's kind for the FA. I suspect he'd have a longer ban now they have more experience of dealing with it.......Mutu, Bosnich etc.

Didn't the dutch players caught doping get feeble bans. I'm sure Davids etc only got 4 months and it was pretty systematic. All Italian based and all Dutch. Coincidence. A ready made excuse if we get beat tonight
