I was travelling west along the Kings Rd, Chelsea last night and got photographed by a guy with a board saying spotmybike.com or some such like. I've tried to find it online with no sucess. Any London commuters now anything about this :?:

"What happens when the hammer goes down, kids?"
    "It stays down, Daddy."
    "Exactly."
  • Ah I see. As yet no one appears to have given the website details. sorry I'm new to this forum.

spotmybike.com isn't registered (according to UKReg), so that would explain why you can't find any record of that particular site.

  • That's what I thought it was but I was going so fast, and it was last night, and my memory is fuddled by years of drugs and alcohol, to remember if that was the correct url. That's why I asked on here if anyone knows what it is.

A 40 mile round trip 5 days a week - on a fixie! Good man.
Never be tempted to race against a Barclays Cycle Hire bike. If you do, there are only two outcomes. Of these, by far the better is that you now have the scalp of a Boris Bike.
  • I reckon nearer 50. I take the scenic/safer route and don't go near tooting high rd. It's longer but takes around the same time and there are better cycling stretches. Besides Putney hill on a Friday night is a great way to usher in the weekend.

I'm sure others may have seen this already, but to save others searching, FGSS seem to think it may be the bloke at http://www.bikespotters.com
  • You know what, you've only gone and cracked it. Cheers! :P

See you on the road ladies...catch me if you can.

  • Well you know the recession must be over when utterly pointless ventures like this are launched. And does their camera man get a nosebleed if he enters an area whose postcode doesn't begin with a 'W'?

well he was in SW last night!

i wouldn't venture to one beginning with "E" or "N", might get stabbed...
  • oscarbudgies just jealous, he's desperate for some fame, or a picture to show his potential squeeze.

  • OK OK 'west London postcode' - being neither postman or native Londoner I think I should be excused such a schoolboy error. Still a stupid idea for a website though
