Coniston Rides
Hi,
Have a weekend planned in November, to ride Whinlatter on the Friday and Grizedale on the Sunday.
I am looking for suggestions for the Saturday, when we really want a good days riding, with plenty of natural trails and a start point of Coniston where we are staying,
We have previously ridden the Big Day Out and are looking for suggestions for a similar ride to be completed in mid-November.
Thanks

Tour of Coniston route is a good one. Takes in some of the best bits of Grizedale (inc. Parkamoor descent), Torver common and finally descend Walna Scar back into Coniston.
Also plenty of options if you head through Tilberthwaite / Elterwater / Langdales (good bridleways that hold up well if the weather has been bad). Return via the back of Tarn Hows, into Grizedale to descend Lawson Park back to Coniston.0 -
