Earl's Court Bike Show - 9th - 11th October - Discounts?

Hi Guys,

I'm planning on attending the Bike show in October, and will potentially be buying a new set of wheels.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has experience of buying bikes at the bike show and if you can expect discounts on the newest models by buying direct from the show?

Having been there for the past four years, i can say there aren't many discounts available. Condor cycles have their usual 'shop' for mainly clothing, and there might be the odd 'special offer' there but not much else. The odd bike for sale, such as Fondriest did have last year, but otherwise it's a case of view and order, or just view.

The London cycle show is a showcase of the major cycling brands really, if you want a discount pair of wheels you could always order a pair from a retailer and pick them up when you're there, if you see what i mean. That's the only way I can see.
