Does anyone use their saddle bags, i have the popular topeak aero wedge but it's now falling apart and i wanted something a bit more robust and weatherproof but more importantly clamps onto the rails directly and will not flap about.
Have i made a good choice, they look quite decent i must say.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

I've got one of these on the commuter, been on for a year and not leaked a drop, wee bit of condensation gets in but not much. Very good... The box isn't massive though, that's the only real drawback.Uncompromising extremist0

I have one and can't really fault it apart from it can be difficult to get into when it is still in position under the seat. Almost dropped my mobile from it accidentally when the bottom section dropped open but I do have it tight to the seat. The quick release idea is pretty nifty.
From a water-proof aspect, probably the best on the market, from a design point of view, suits my bike ideally and I couldn't imagine a fabric seat-bag on there.
I would have liked the one with the LED but not in white.

Have to say the thing is a bit bigger than i anticipated, but im glad it takes a bit more than the aero wedge did and best of all it's silent!! and it's rigid no flapping about of any kind.
I love how you can peel back the rubber skin over the saddle then just unzip it and whip out whatever you need, yes it's a bit bulky but the mount feels far more study than the topeak one did, i just have to throw my small bits and bobs into a zip lock bag rather than a compartment but no biggie, it leaves me with enough room for all my tools and a spare tube and i still have room for some gels and a mobile phone if necessary.
Obviously for a race id take it off but for general riding hell i love it, i was apprehensive at first but i now realise how silly that was i am seriously impressed with it!!!The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
