i've just patched them so hoping they will be ok once the glue has dried.

You do know that the vulcanising solution should be allowed to dry completely before applying the patch?

    Slit sounds like pinch flat.

    Good luck Soni

    Remember, tube, phone . . .

Got back this morning without any flats! Just as well because i forgot my phone again!

Hopefully the flats were just a one off, had a lovely ride this morning, the bike was running nicely, quietly, and smoothly.....

I think the phone thing stems from the beginning of the year when i went out in the rain with my phone in my back pocket of my jacket and it rained so much that the phone got soaked and was knackered afterwards, and i just don't think of taking it anymore.

Dude I stick my mobile a small amount of cash and my debit card in a sandwich bag. Works an absolute treat mate.

Yeah sounds like i need to think a bit more in advance of the unexpected, as a guy in our club run had a bike problem that couldn't be rectified and he was about 40 miles into the ride, with another 40 miles to ride back, and he had to find the nearest station and train it back......
