hi, i am in need of some help. i have a marin ovation rear hub that seems on occasion not to want to engage. i think the problem maybe that 1 of the pawls is broke thus causing the issue.
1st. how do i remove the freehub ?
2nd can i get a replacement freehub or do i need the complete hub and rebuild of wheel ?
3rd i have a spare shimano freehub can this be fitted to the ovation hub or not ?
any input would be of great help
cheers

Not sure with this one - you may have to contact Marin UK or do some investigative work.
I am pretty sure it is a bolt on hub like the Shimano style (but may depend on year), so after removing the axle and wheel bearings you may have access to a lhollw allen bolt. Usually takes a big size ie 10mm.0 -
Hi,
Did you get anywhere with this at all? I'm looking for the same thing at the moment!

Thread is three years old - you are unlikely to get an answer from the OP.I don't do smileys.
