Can anyone recomend a decent bike shop that may be willing to prepare a damage report for me?

Since my accident in August, I've been trying to get my LBS to write up a damage report for my Madone, but apparently their bloody useless, and can't produce anything beyond a single sentence  I've tried every other LBS close to me and they all refuse to provide a report on anything that wasn't purchased from them.

If anyone has any experience of shops arround the London area that may be willing to do this for me in return for my custom when I gt any insurance money through I'd be most grateful :lol:

Assuming you want an independent report, you should avoid telling them this bit  . It look better if you pay them for the mechanic's time looking over the bike and preparing his report. :)

Bromley if you explain it's a Trek and you want to replace it I'm sure will sort you out a report.

Good point CJ, the problem is finding someone willing to produce the report.
