Hello,
Just been out to ride my bike quickly and i have noticed that my front rotor is now making a ringing noise when i turn right. My brakes arnt new and i have had them for 1 year, do you think i need new pads anyway as i have ridden alot over the year i have had the bike. How many mm is recommended to be left before you change pads?
Oh and the other day i removed the pads from my rear brake and noticed the pads were silky smooth, not sure if this is normal or should i roughen them up a little with some sand paper?
I am off to check if the bolts holding on my rotor are not loose.
Any help will be much appreciated, Cheers

nothing to do with pads.
alignment might be off a gnats whisker.
but more likely to be bearings and fork flex."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
