Halfords Carrera tdf 09 ony £200 brand new ??

... so I've been searching for a half decent 2nd hand road bike. Didnt want to plunge straight in there and spend loads of money ... but Ive just seen in Halfords on line this

I say go for it, if you want to change it you wont lose any money if you sell it on ebay

Looks ok but crap everything apart from shifters, and its really heavy. you'd be better off getting something like this.

or you can get even luckier and get a lucky one. My dad got a Carrera Monza for 5 quid. Full RX100 groupset and 531 tubing. Weighs about 9kg. Lighter than my trek 1000.

Looks like a good bike, it won't be that heavy, it will be lighter than any other bike at tht price, also it looks like the price has gone back up.

Tried to order one myself ,or at least go through the process to see if any 54's in stock - none available.
