Obviously from the end of the tube but where to?


and while I'm here what's the minimum length that you need in the seat tube again?

    wherever some time the clamp able length, some times clamp to bottom.

    insert depends on the post. and some times the frame. use the greater.

    Okie dok. ta. In which case I'll be needing a 400mm post to be on the safe side as the seat tube is 2" lower on this new frame I've got my eye on and the next size up is too long in the top tube.
