FCR 1 commuting?

how practical for short commuting? what mudguards can you fit without totally ruining the look for winter? :roll:

    Nice light bike. You are bothered how it looks when commuting?!
  • Get the lightest bike you can afford or an old bike with good sollid components.

    Don't go for all this flash top of the range Shimano or Colnago stuff as the middle or bottom of these ranges will last just as long.

    A short commute is definately worth it, any exercise is good.

    You must enjoy it though and want to do it.

  • i like riding my bikes , I had the same short cycle commute for 33 years its just always been on run of the mill bottom end heavy stuff although I really like the dawes I got now and I thought it was a light bike till I picked up a giant fcr1 and I thought Im having that it just has to be a little more practical so i can use it five days a week plus sunday mornings.
