Hi all,
I am into motorcyclr road racing in a big way, running in many events. I am looking to improve my levels of fitness and alot of the top racers i have spoken to say that mountain bikes are the way to go.
just before i go and buy a load of gear i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice......
For example do you think it will benfit me fitness wise etc
Where abouts is a good place to start i am in Bicester Oxfordshire
Any help appreciated

if you ride motorbikes, mountian biking will sharpen the skills you already have. a good thing on its own, but the extra fitness that comes with it wont go wrong!roberts dogs bolx

Yep it will sharpen your fitness and might help you picking lines. I ride a fireblade on the road and find that that helps my mountain biking, but I guess it go the other way too. Good luck, you'll enjoy it!http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg

Unless you have a crash riding a bike of any kind can't hurt your fitness. Start by popping in to say hello to me at my shop in Aylesbury...... well, the shop I work in anyway. Lots of MTBs to choose from.0

if you want some trails there is the ridgeway just the other side of oxford. or if you head north there is woburn sands near milton keynes there is pretty good riding.2010 Forme Reve
