So in an attempt to get rid of the hot foot I got myself a pair of Mega size Sidis. Now you wouldn't believe it, but the insole is just the same as in regular Sidi shoes (what a bargain for a £ 200 shoe) which of cause will make the insole float around inside the shoe.

Does someone know of a good broad insole I can put into these megasize shoes and where to buy?
(mega only refer to the model - I don't have giant's feet).

I also hope this insole will provide further support for my big toe since that is the one causing the trouble - being too god damn straight according to all the pointing toe shoe makers.

On another note - I don't get why sports shoes all have pointy noses, wouldn't comfort rather than style make a good selling sport shoe? I think Jacoform should go into cycling shoes.

Try Superfeet insoles and just cut to size. Or simply drill holes into those things and stick a cleat on them

I've got Superfeet Blue in my Sidi Megas. The yellow ones are to narrow and the molded shape did not quite fit the shoe (although Superfeet said it should.

I fully agree that you do expect an insole to fit the shoe and this was the only thing that I was disapointed about with my Sidi's quality.

Well Superfeet didn't do it for me. The arch support is too long and irritates my forefoot. Furthermore they are not nearly broad enough to fill out the Sidi Mega's. That was the blue ones since the shop didn't have the yellows. Dagnaddit! I know I should just have shelled out on some Lake, Rocket or Bont - had been cheaper in the long run (two pair of Sidi's, inner soles, adapting clamps, shims etc.....) Stupid feet! Gonna do a Cinderella soon.

i feel a bit stupid, i was going to mention inov8's 6mm & 3mm insoles and then decided not to.
with my sidi 6.6 genius 07 shoes i put the 6mm insoles ontop of the sidi waffer thin insoles and helpd me tho now ive found that my right foot toes are wider than my left foot so the wee right toe gets a bit red, tho might be bad cleat setup on the right shoe.

anyways heres a link and should be able to find a dealer near you.
