Riding on shocks with no pressure??

Quick question- is it ok to ride a bike with little or no pressure in the shocks? The reason I ask is because I have had my new bike delivered to my girlfriends house( she was in to sign for delivery) and my shock pump is a home (6 Road miles ride).
Shocks are rock shox pike and fox rp23. Should I use them on lock out?

no you can cause damage.
what sag do you get on them?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

This would be a bad idea.
Think about jumping off a wall with you knees locked and no trainers on.0 -
Looks like over 50% sag on the rear shock, not so bad on the forks... I thought it was probably a bad idea even though it's only a road route - looks like a long walk home!
Thanks for the quick response.Santa Cruz Chameleon

Could run/jog home, grab the pump, run/jog back. Pump up bike, ride home. Or get a lift/bus whatever instead of running. Saves you having to walk a bike 6 miles, at least.0
