Is slot drop out scandal a pain with gears?

How do you position the wheel right each time?
Is it a pain removing the wheel and replacing?

all i do is drop it down to the granny ring on the front and the smallest on the rear then undo pull the wheel out lift the chain off job done, to align it you just push it all the way in as far as it goes then tighten the quick release
