Just bought one of the above, but not too sure if it's too small or not. It's quite tight along the shoulder area when standing straight, bur feels ok when in a cycling position. I understand that it's suppose to be cut for cycling, but can somenone else shed some light on how tight it should be when standing??

That sounds actually fine, how you just described it. In the riding position it should fit fine. That's the way Assos works. I have an Airblock 851 jacket with exactly the same sizing.
  • I've just bought one and it is a Very close fit but superb, warm and no flapping about, I know assos is expensive but they just seem to get everything right

Thanks for the reassurance guys. I had images of the thing coming apart at the seams

The good thing about Assos is that if there is any damage or trouble with seams or stitching, they do an excellent repair or replacement scheme. You do get what you pay for with Assos.

You try getting that standard of service with Rapha, or any other half decent quality brand.
  • Yeah, don't be alarmed at the slightly funny fit off the bike, it's cut specifically for on the bike
