Noth Yorks Moor Route Please

Hi,

Going up to dalby forest next sat but, sun thought wed ride some natural stuff on the moors.

Can anyone recommend a fun route, i.e. some good descents <20 Miles ?

    Have a look on here, they have a route section, but also look in their REMEMBER WHEN section as it details rides they have done as a group with plenty of supporting pictures and descriptions, I think.

    Thanks, I had looked at those sites already , but theres so many and were only going to do one, so I was hoping for a recommendation.

    If my mate doesnt get banned from driving :roll: we could show you a couple of routes, i dont drive so i it will all depend on that but 2 good ones spring to mind 1 up round the danby area and one up around fylingdales & goathland. the only other thing i can think of is if you P.M me (i live fairly local) i could arrange to meet you and highlight a route on an OS map (as you will need one!).

    thanks for the generous offer birchy , but I can t guarantee any specific time well be ready to ride , my reprobate , quasi-reliable friends are notorios "faffers", usually resulting in rides starting upto 3 hrs after they were planned !

    If any body could just recommend a specific route preferably with a weblink or some OS grid-refs that would be great. Cheers Rob
