Hi,

was thinking of buying the F-14 helmet by THE. Has anyone got one of these and can shed a review & your opinion on whether or not i should go for it?

ive read reviews on wiggle etc but want a bit more.

thinking of using it for trails mainly. and maybe dirt jumping as well??

Cheers
Luke

I've got one and have to say it's bloody excellent.

Same head coverage as a pisspot but with venting of a normal mtb or road lid so you can leave it on during the climbs. I have a massive bonce and found that the pisspot style is the one that stops me looking quite so ridiculous with a hemet on.

    Here's the brief bikeradar review: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/category/ ... met--32055
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

cheers :) i look stupid in normal mtb helmets as well, i have a full face but they are FAR too warm to be climbing in, and wanted something i could use on jumps as well. this fits nicely for all of my riding.

whats is the weight of it like? i know you can notice having a helmet on but is it lightweight?

I'll weigh it as soon as I get some batteries for my scales. Feels light enough however.
