Does everyone think I'm a right b@stard?

I'm sarcastic, miserable and like to wind Will Hub up from time to time (though I'm working on that one). I ride a triple and I live a long way away so you can't come around and duff me up.
Just interested...

I'm not aware of your work. Hovever, if you care what we think about you then you're more likely to be a self-obsessed paranoid tw@t with a tiny todger than a right b@stard.

And living a long way away won't save you, we have agents everywhere!

Triple ? My wife has some old blouses she doesn't want, what size are you ?
  • I like you sarcasm and humour and I enjoy reading your posts. Your humour is very dry and it makes it even better that certain people at the end of it, just dont get it.
    Keep it up.

    dcm,
Thanks for the offer but I think they'll be too big.

OOhh, asked for that one. Is it hot where you are ? Its just you have posted two or three times now and not mentioned how hot it is there, especially at night-time....

    dcm,
No, it's not so hot now - only about 34 degrees currently. At night it's about 27, gentle breeze. I know I post about it a lot; it's just that I'm amazed that I live anywhere where it's so hot that my SHINS sweat, for Pete's sake.

Anyway, I have no wish to get into a battle of wits with an unarmed man....

Who says I'm unarmed ? Ive never heard of capital shins before, is that a symptom of living in Hong Kong (PRC) ?

I respect anyone who can get clear of Rochdale (and it's outlying areas) - bonus points are awarded for escaping to an entirely different continent.

(God we’re emotionally incontinent on this site aren’t we? The last fortnight has seen us all getting chippy about bike maintainance capabilities, lack of waves / nods from roadies and BMW driving assholes. Now we’re all up for group hugs and setting up a support network for Will)

I can't make up my mind whether to be nice and supportive or tetchy. I like Freehub though, he seems very innocent and naive.

Going back to the OP, I was always told that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but I've plumbed those depths myself many times. As for DCM, well we don't know how big his wife is, so we don't know if they fit. Remember tho' size isn't everything!

Not true; Ben Elton is the lowest form of wit.

Hong Kong's not PRC, it's SAR at the moment.

And I'm very upset that you don't like me. I'm off for a sulk...

Is the weather nice in Hong Kong at the moment? Do you see lots of asian people on bikes?

HK and bikes aren't really compatible. HK and the biggest car you can't afford is more like it. Car is king there and bikes would just be 'inconvenient' It's not like that image yo ave of China and the populace on sit-up-and-beg bikes. Think Tokyo, modern, financially driven metropolis and you'll get the picture.

    Hi Will,
HK is quite awful for riding bikes. Many locals ride clapped out old rusty machines with a basket on the front. The seat has to be on it's lowest setting and it's illegal to look out for anyone else. mrushton is right; if you ride a "proper" bike you are the scum of the earth. I ride everywhere really early in the morning to avoid the traffic. It's a shame, there's some really nice roads and lovely scenery. :( At the risk of boring dmclite, the weather has been around 33 degrees during the day for the past 2 months. It really is quite warm.

    dmc,
My use of PRC is ironic. It's still technically an SAR but I used PRC to convey a feeling of impending decay as the colony sinks into Chinese rule. I'm sure you are lovely, and so is your wife.

Do you get allot of wind? Tuesday is going to be 23 degrees here but I expect it'll feel more like 18 with the very strong wind.

    Will,

I do get a lot of wind - I think it's the peanut oil, but the kumara doesn't help either...

Didn't realise he went in for wit much these days, just peddling duff musicals based on the works of Queen, Rod Stewart etc. and earning pots of dough as a result. Anyone else on here old enough to remember when Ben Elton was a socialist?

Ben Eltons style never sat well with me, very confused, angry, not funny and annoying. He is now in the New comedian as relates to New Labour.
