doing 1st time trial

what time do you think i should be looking for on first 10 mile time trial being riding 3 months on road bike but commute on mtb daily 14 mile iam 6ft 5 and 20 st

Whatever the time. it'll be a PB - just beat that next time.

No one knows what they should be looking at when they first do one, you could have amazing natural fitness and get a better time than someone training a year. I remember my first TT, it was a 10.5mile or so hilly, did it in 35 or so mins, 19.2mph average, I'd say this year I might be down to 28ish on the same course, just keep riding and you'll end up going well fast.

Yep don't worry about time too much on the first one - you'll get quicker with each one you do. Use it as experience. And have fun!

Done it in just under 28 mins seemed a pretty decent time against other first timers so happy with it.

Nice one boss. I've only done a couple of TT's but have really enjoyed them. Not whilst doing them mind

Whilst I'm riding I'm thinking why the hell am I doing this, about 5 minutes later I think 'I enjoyed that'.

just a little of topic and sorry to crash the post but i have been looking to do my first TT but was wondering where the best place is to find events? Where are they advertised? is there a website?

any guidance would be appreciated.
