MTB for the mates Mrs, Around the £300 mark

One of the boys is looking to buy a Mountain Bike for his good lady for use on some basic trails and country cycles along with the usual canal paths and old railway lines. Think he has a little flexibility on price but any advice on a good value bike would be great
