While we are on the subject does anyone know why their are so many different sizes of post? 27.2mm is standard road size so why did mtbs start to do all sizes under the sun?!0 -

Another yes for giant, i believe most specalized do as well.
As for the older tomacs they use 31.6mm mostly, don't know about the new ones.The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Am only asking so I know which frameset would fit
AM guessing most other parts on a frame should be a straight swap for another frame (providing front mech is same fitment). :roll:0
