Saying Hi

I've been lurking for a while but thought it time I said hi and started to contribute if possible.
I ride a Focus Cross to and from work which is 20 miles overall. Luckily I don't cycle in town as it seems that's the most dangerous place.
I've been doing this commute for nearly 2 years now and have cycled in all weathers.
Started on an MTB with slicks then borrowed a hybrid before buying the Focus on the cycle to work scheme.
I've also got a Giant TCR Expert that my best mate gave me when he bought a carbon racer and use this bike when it is dry.
I've bought a load of kit some really great some so so.
Anyone got any good experiences of sub £100 lights for commuting.

Don't buy Cat Eye, they're generally rubbish. Take a look at the sticky on lights above....Do not write below this line. Office use only.0

With lights you get what you pay for unfortunately. I ride a fair amount of unlit roads, sounds like you do too. I started with a £40 cateye which is fine for being seen but hopeless for lighting the road. I then got the £85 singleshot plus which has a decent beam but hopelessly weak monting bracket which broke twice so sent back. I've just shelled out £160 on this:

Yes it's a lot of money but it is amazing, the light output is incredible. I feel the other lights were false economy and it's £70 off. If you ride unlit sections I'd recommend one.0 -
If you can wait for delivery from Hong Kong, I here these:
