Just been looking at the new Focus 2010 range on the website. I must say how good looking the majority the bikes are and how much of a good spec they are - Sram XX groupset with XX technology on brakes and suspension aswell + carbon frame?! Its a shame that you can't test ride them from your LBS as they are only sold through Wiggle?.

Anyway, a good looking range with a (looking at it) good spec. Just looking forward to reading the reviews on them soon.

  • Yeah the are sold exclusively through Wiggle. I'm a bit of a Focus fanboy really, got a 2007 Raven Pro and have just ordered a Cayo road bike. They are incredibly fast and light and almost always have a higher spec than anything else for the same amount of money.

Got to agree that the 2010 range is looking rather fit. Had to check the photos of the new Raven out, it looks rather special. I didn't see any pricing for it but I'm sure it will be the usual excellent value.

    Got a 2008 superbud.

Full fox and xt and lx and mavic for under 1000.00rrp, they are amazing bikes.

I bought one without testing, and loved it, its so so light, but thats prob becuase I put carbon and xt wheels on it.

I would be happy to buy another, wiggle will let you test, they will ship to you, if you dont like they will refund.

i am interested in the 2010 thunder as i'd like to get something all-mountain bomb-proof.

is there any more info, and what are you thoughts on the info revealed so far, such as this single pivot knuckle box rear suspension business?

    cheers

    3) which is the low-end model, i can't tell from the listed specs?
    4) anyone got pics of what the different models look like in 2010 finery?

    cheers

With focus it will prob be based on the 2009 prices not 2008.

Not sure how they got my bike so cheap, but they had lower spec and more expensive on the 2009.

The 2010 price of other manufacturers bikes is 10-20% higher than 2009

lol, i get the impression i am not making myself clear: :)

    2) what kind of price do they go for?

since a google shopping search doesn't find a focus thunder i am going to guess that it is a new model thus preventing me from guessing at the cost based on last years (none existent) model.

What do you guys think about this Knuckle box business, i believe Diamondback have been using it for a while, so it isn't an unknown quantity?
