    A bottle and cage.

Have a look in Deacthlon or their website for cheap options. Have a nice light carbon one for not much money.

    Just a couple of litres.
would a litre on the seatpost upset handling?
    (when out the saddle)?

Put a bottle in your rear jersey pocket?

    Or just get a camalbak.

silly question? why wouldnt you want to use a camal pack? get all your water tools, tubes etc in there plus the weight on your back would effect handling less than if its on your frame?

  • I`ve seen cages that fit under the saddle cradle before.
When I was a kid,I had a bar mounted cage, which attached with clips either side of the stem. Was great becuase you could stick a straw in you bottle and drink while you were riding.......
