Just wondering if the is sucjh a thingin print or online, showing the relief or gradient profiles of passes in France, paerticularly in the Rhone Alps area?
Salivating over a tour through Vercors and the Alps.

You can also use http://www.bikehike.co.uk to view a profile for what it's worth, though the gradients are not correct outside the UK.0

the series "atlas des cols des alpes" published by altigraph give gradients over each kilometre for all the climbs major and minor.there is a couple of paragraphs describing each climb. unfortunately it is only available in french and with pound/euro rate they come in at around £20. however they are by region with a lot of overlap so one book is likely to cover your tour. ithink every climb is in there even small ones on remote roads eg col de parquetout and those only practicable with a mountain bike
