Giant XTC SE Marzocchi Suspension Upgrade Problems !!!

HI there,
I have read the Disc Explanation Guide but admit my knowledge being a newbie to mountain biking and understanding is not great. I was wondering if someone can help with an upgrade I'm planning - I apologise for my terminology but I will try and give as much info as possible.
I have a standard Giant XTC SE 2006 Model which came with a standard set of 2005 Marzocchi Race Suspension and Giant MPH-3 Disc Brake System Model 2002 with 160mm discs. As far as I can make out this has a standard Post Mount for the disc brakes.
A friend has offered me some 2006 Marzocch Bomber MX Pro Lo Shocks which has an IS Mount. They are a great deal but I have already bought one adaptor which was totally wrong and had to be sent back. A mate has found the following two adaptors which he thinks will work BUT I'd need to get a new larger disc:-
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/A2Z_A ... 360033034/
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Hope_ ... 000000720/
I think the second one might be a winner but only if I can use my original 160 mm disc - its not worth buying the suspension if i need to get a larger.
Any thoughts and help would be great on this and again apologises for any inaccurate terminology.

your Race has IS mount the MX pro should have post mount.
so you will need a Post mount (fork) to IS (Calliper) adaptor and a 180mm disc."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
