Which fast hardtail should I get?

Hey all,
Am about to buy a new bike and am thinking about one of the above (they're about the same price due to discounts).
Plan to use it cross country over my local Scottish hills (pentlands). Mainly interested in climbing ability, but needs to be sensible downhill too!
Which would you go for? Don't know much about the Scott apart from seeing a couple of positive reviews! Anybody got any experience of them?
Also, how do I find out about sizing for Scott (I'm 6'2", 33" leg and 85kg)? 19" would be fine, but they are decribed as being either "medium" or "large"!
Any thoughts gratefully received!!
