What 120-140mm full sus trail bike should i buy for £1400?

I am looking for a 120mm-140mm travel full sus for around £1400 for riding trails or singletrack. I am not looking to race or ride whole mountains, just large hills such as leath hill (highest hill in the south east, almost a mountain at 900-and-something-feet, and only 35 minutes away!). I have looked at the specialized fsr xc pro 09 and gary fisher hi fi plus 09. Any ideas?
