I had to push myself a little today to get out on the bike this weekend but a decent forecast for the morning and some sunshine got me in the car down to Otley to do a little 27 miler up towards Pateley Bridge. Total route has about 2600 feet of climbing according to Bikely. Gradient profile shows it to be pretty continuously hilly.

Anyway, the wierd thing is, I actually enjoyed the climbing! Possibly more than the downhills. No, on second thoughts, that is silly. Actually, probably I just didn't find the climbing as grim as before. But anyway, there you have it. I seem to be starting to enjoy the up bits. Will be back in the same area next week hopefully on the Evans Sportive (my first one) 60 miler so we'll see how that goes. Might even be fun
Faster than a tent.......
