Should I buy an 09 SX Trail?

Going to keep my 140mm hardtail for looong rides and sometimes trail centres. Want new bike for UK freeride, DH and sometimes trail centres. SX Trail 2 seems good value, great reviews and my mate loves his 08. Only concern is that I will find trail centres (eg GT red) awful on it. Maybe a Spicy or Reign X would be better, but then they might be found wanting on the freeride and DH.

Any opinions?

When 2010 model available in UK
If the UK 09 price will fall soon
What size for a 6 foot guy
