Shimano 105 downtube shifters won't stay tight...

Just what the title says. I can't seem to get the screws holding the shifters on to stay tight and so it just drops down to the smallest ring on the back after about 2 or 3 changes. the one for the front seems to be fine...

Anyone care to enlighten me as to what on earth I'm doing wrong? :?

Tried a dab of threadlock. Never had a problem like this myself.
