Doh! Got the wrong size tubes.

In my haste I managed to select the wrong size tubes on CRC. Went for the 700 x 35-45, instead of the 700x23 that match my tyres.

Will these larger tubes fit in my 23mm tyres ok? Are they useless to me? Not even for a get-me-home fix in case of punctures...?

Thx,
Shazam !!

Yes, they are useless to you. Send them back for the correct size.

You'll be trying to cram too much tube in and will probably end up with pinch punctures.

You're better getting the right ones.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

disagreeing with the other 2 (but not entirely) i wouldn't put them past as a last resort backup, as I have used a larger tube in a 23c wheel before... it was a bit crammed, and had to be careful putting the tyre back on to avoid pinch, but it worked and more importantly got me home.

I DID however change back to correct size at first opportunity.

Sell them on eBay, mentioning 'Fixie' in the title and you will get over double what you paid for them...
