I have an old Castelli Gore Windstopper jacket that's starting to get a bit tatty. It's a brilliant jacket, as light as a feather. I'm looking for something to replace it, but most of the stuff I see looks a bit on the warm side. The Castelli is great at keeping you warm, but at the same time never gets too hot when the sun comes out. Does anyone have any ideas ???

Something from the Asso range. I own the intermediate - which is light enough for most summer days apart from the odd hot days and add base layer for an autumnal day. Autumn to Winter I use the Element 1 and vary the base layer depending on how cold it is. For deep winter the Airblock851 with a winter base layer.

All the Assos stuff is great at keeping out the cold and really good at venting so you dont overheat. Recommend it to anybody as its worth the money.

Why not get another Castelli Gore, as it appears to work well for you?
