  • I know it's not on your list but i've been using a Rido R2 on my road bike which i've found really comfortable on long rides. It only cost £29.99 :D

A saddle is a really personal thing, and the one part of your bike you will have to figure out for yourself.

Everyone on the forum will have a personal preference for a particular saddle. It doesn't mean that other saddles are bad, but everyone is shaped differently, and people have different preferences.

Direct comparisons between saddles in terms of comfort are impossible.

Try ringing a few LBS, as some will offer to loan you a saddle for a while to see if you like it before buying one.

Or, buy one and try it on your bike. If you don't damage it, most branded saddles (Fizik, Specialzed, Selle Italia, etc.) have high resale value on Ebay.

    Good Luck.

I would suggest of your list the spoon is probably th best place to start. It's very popular and lots of people seem to get on with it. Plus the Ti rail version in only what £30.
