Hi, just a quick question... when I cycle more than around 10 miles on my Scott Sportster hybrid, I get quite a bit of neck pain (around the top of spine in the middle of neck) anyone know what could cause this and any solutions???

Ta folks...
That's my 2 cents,

I used to get the same. I have put it down to having to keep your head up to see what is coming towards you on the road in a slightly forced position.
My neck pain went away after about 6 months commuting on a hybrid. It only occurs now when I ride 50 miles + on my road bike with lower bars.
    Cheers,

Did you see the tv prog about the British guy who did the Race Across America? After a while that guy needed a neck brace to keep his head up. Ok he was riding >20h a day, but i imagine it's a simlar thing but to a lesser extent.

Just wait for your neck to get stronger. I guess i'm lucky, only been riding for a year, but played rugby (prop) and American football (line) for a total of 12 years so my neck is pretty strong already.
