Riding mates Leicestershire?

Just wondering if there are any guys out there who ride FR/DH and live around Melton Mowbray area? I'm 17 and haven't met anyone who's into it around here! probably because leicestershire is sh*t for extreme riding, but i've been building and riding some NS/FR/DH lines pretty much single-handedly! please reply!

Not to far from you in Grantham, where do you ride? Stathern near Belvoir Castle has some fun bits.

I mainly ride at a local disused steelworks in Asforby just outside Melton, but go to all the midlands spots. Tryin to find new places to build close to home, as Stathern NS has been demolished

Cool, i ride a old quarry just down the road from me. Have the Dh trails been trashed too at Stathern as i was up there not long ago and they were looking pretty good.

If you fancy meeting up some time let me know as i work shifts so am often at home during the week daytime.
I ride a couple of times a week with friends around the vale of Belvoir in the evening as we have a nice little 20 mile loop.

All the north shore has gone. 20 mile loop? might sit that one out- my bike's a 50lb freeride rig lol! I go college weekdays, so can only really do weekends tho :S
