    b-side was a cracker, right enough....

    it's wierd, but I never actually realised (before watching the vid) that JJB sang the lead on '5 mins' - I always assumed it was HC.....
  • Stranglers memories

    1979 first ever gig was the Stranglers. Hammersmith Odeon

    Funnily enough I failed my physics O level. I thought writing out the lyrics to "Who wants the World" would have worked. Spooked the censored out the geeks as they thought I'd completed the exam 30 mins earlier than them!

    Still love the intro to Shah Shah a go-go and play it loud whenever I can. Vinyl, of course
