It's not very good, it's not very long, and it meanders rather. And please don't mind the occasional dubious grammar!

Nevermind - I plan to write more for this site and eventually maybe squeeze them for money if they get going at any pace...

Not really, but the chap commenting was ... well, he had a lot to say!

I think he was picking up on the fact I had tempered my anger at drivers in the article...

His was just a meaningless ramble, nearly as bad as Igonikon Jack in The Telegraph. I lost the will to carry on after a bit with his endless comment. Good effort on your part tho SW.

It a good article imo. It does the job of representing the majority of us well. :)

    Oh!
    Thanks guys :)

I honestly didn't think much of it (I was between rambling on for ages or cutting it short - couldn't seem to manage in between) as I thought I'd ended up with something a bit wishy-washy.

And I did go a little soft on the drivers - but I guess that's what comments are for, showing all sides :D

Notice you got a reply from a driver regarding RLJing..... they really have a be in their bonnet over it. Now when I drive I am far more concious of cyclists and their habits. To be honest seeing someone RLJ does not bother me unless they do it in a reckless and dangerous way.

But i digress, great article to open the debate, and good on you for getting it published.

Keep up the good work, the more awareness car drivers have of cyclists and the dangers they find themselves in everyday the better.

I'm just disappointed that your real name isn't Sara Joy! Nice article though :D

Joy's my middle name, so it is, really :)

    Cheers all!

Now the article has a driver who doesn't even ride commenting something fairly pro-cyclist and calling for more tests and checks on drivers - which is nice to see :)

Good article, and I thought the comments were really rather balanced - most articles like this seem to result in comments threads that degrade into full blown slanging matches. So well done that yours hasn't!
