Hello,
Can someone explain to me what is ment by steerer length, please?
I've spotted these little beauties for sale Rockshox Fork, and I'm wondering if that 185mm they're quoting is to big/small/wide/narrow for my current deathtrap.
Ta in advance.

It's the length of the tube that comes up from crown of the forks (so the bit that goes through your frame and that you fasten the stem onto).0

Time to get the old tape measure out....0 -
Do make sure the steerer is the correct width, and threaded/threadless (depending on your needs)0

Also don't forget that the Steerer Length is not set in stone...
So long as it's long enough, it can be cut down to the (your) preferred length.0 -
yes i cut one down a month back. make sure you use a decent hack saw though.0
