Does anyone know where I can get some reasonably priced (~£30) 24 hole rims? I quite fancy getting a 24-hole On One fixed hub, but can't find a rim to build it onto.

Thanks.

Just found the Halo Aerorage rim (which SJS are selling for £30) - looks quite similar to the IRD Cadence Road. Slightly heavier and slightly cheaper.

Go for 28 or 32 imo, much more choice, stronger and very small weight gain.

I wouldn't use an aerorage myself, if it's available in neon yellow and purple, that shows what market it's trying to fill. Go for one of the usual lot, Mavic, DT, IRD, Rigida etc.

I'd probably go for 28 hole if I could get a 28 hole hub for £15 (I can get a 24 hole hub for £15). 32 hole is what I have already and I want something different.

I'd be getting the Aerorage rim in black. Mavic and DT rims are silly expensive these days and Rigida seem only to do 32 and 36 hole. And since when did IRD become one of the usual lot? I'd never heard of them until today....

A lighter pair of wheels for weekend rides through the winter (currently have a Mavic A719 for commuting duties).

FWIW the IRD and Halo rims are both the same both - made by Kinlin
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

It'll be cheaper to buy the full aerorage wheel than build an on one into the aerorage rim.

IRD cadence would be my pick for 24h.
