An idea of every on how to store your bikes and what works well and good ideas such as music, power and work stands.
so post pictures of your sheds and in bigbenj's case new bedroom and say what youve got in there and why you like it
do not list your location such as town, road or number incase you become victim to thieves and pirates if you live on a houseboat

The corrugated plastic roof bit on the left is all shed/store. Rooms for five bikes, surfboards, garden machinery, etc but guarded by four machine gun towers and a number of claymore mines.

Sounds like a safe residence for the bikes matt, i want my own shed0

I use a workshop with electricity, its not particularly secure but I took out insurance and don't display my bikes to passers by. You need lighting IMO, for fixing bikes at night mainly.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0

Garage here..0

Mine's a right out state at the moment (and a garage really). I spent an entire day clearing and cleaning it, had a area for maintenance, room for both mtbs, plenty of room to park the CBR. A place for everything, and everything in it's place.
THEN my family came to stay. It started small, the odd paint can, then a telly, then a lawn mower. I FOUND A SET OF STEP LADDERS RESTED AGAINST MY COVE!!!!!!!. then my brothers started to bring their crap over to store. We were importing mess!
They're going home next week. As soon as I'm better I'm going back in there. If it's not mine, it's going and I'm taking the only key for it and keeping it on my person at all times.

Bikes stay in the house
All 11 of them - a couple stay in the garage, but they are 'the undesirables'Now that we are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. ROMANS 15:10 -

That's like saying i want a door for my car that doesn't meet the roof, because I once had the wind blow it shut when I was getting in, and I had my head squished between, well, the door and the roof.0 -

Space for the van
the van is just another storage areas for bikes!! MORE BIKES!0 -
Kiblams lose the tyres or put them in the shed. They are an indcator of a MTB enthusist who may have a couple of bikes worth nicking... wonder where they could be.
And to kep the thread on topic, mine are in a garage with an exercise bike that the wife bought and doesn't use a computer desk and a shit load of crap.
I must look at increased garage security without making it obvious there are things worth nicking.--

CanalRider Cheers for the heads up... There is actually space in the 'shed' for the tyres so they will be in therer as of tonight. The main reason I haven't bothered to move them so far is that they are pretty hidden around a corner in my garden (very visible from mine and my neighbours houses)
C'mon guys, we have only seen 4 so far!0
