OK, so think i'm getting there. Appreciate any advice save me wasting my cash!

I'm considering getting this chainset to go on my TCR Advanced1

FSA SLK Carbon Compact Chainset S-9 .

I'm reckoning that i'll also need to get the bottom bracket. Currently its Shimano Dura Ace Press Fit according to the bike spec.

Will i be alright getting the FSA Platinum ISIS Bottom Bracket 68x108mm to go with the chineset.

Will this work & anything else I need, and do you reckon this is a decent setup andl do the job, or would i be better off sticking with Shimano parts?

If you have press fit bearing you'll need a compatible chainset. Chainsets needing a traditional BB (like ISIS/Square Taper, etc) are not compatible.

Your best bet is a Dura Ace chainset - probably the best chainset out there.

err yeah, but I'm trying to avoid spending much cash! I drive a golf, but i'd have a porsche if i couldnt afford one!

So that chainset and BB wont be fit my frame?

    thanks

You're stuck with anything Hollowtech 2 compatible I guess.

    So Tiagra/105/Ultegra (SL)/Dura Ace

(Some of the FSA MegaExo chainsets too, but I don't think all of them are)
