They should come with a few screws and bolts, etc,

Although, since you say it's a 1.7, I think you might need to get some P-clips for the fork.

Did you manage to fit mudguards on the Trek 1.7?

Would you recommend the 1.7 now that you have lived with it a while?

I found it to be a great bike

crashed at about 35mph on club apr and the bike wasnt too great after that.

Other than that it was excellent.

If you are looking to mount mudguards on yours (or if you are looking to buy one) I have some mounts for the forks here.

any other questions feel free to ask

I have just fitted some Crud Roadracer MK2's to my bike and have found them to be great so far :)

they are excellent mudguards and very easy to fit, better coverage than other clip ons

I might be buying a used one at the weekend.
My friend turned it down and now I have an option on it.
Never had anything other than steel but read that these bikes are good value.
I really need to ride it with mudgaurds which is why I'm here.
I was told it's a triple. Sounds like a good bike with a good rep.

Are the mudcatchers the only guards that will fit?

    Cheers,
    Gary

you can fit full guards too if thats what you are looking for.
There is a bolt on the seat tube to secure rear guard

    Cheers

    Thanks for that.
Funny that the front fork has no eyelets.
    What's that all about?

The fashion for selling us replica race bikes. No clearance for guards or fatter tyres, no mounts for guards, very short wheelbase with inevitable toe overlap, very little scope for adjusting bar height etc etc.

Sheldon thought it was daft as well...

i have mounts for the mudguard to fit onto the front forks if anyone wants them.

It is a race fork, not a winter fork

    thats all
