I would read the instructions, most have a time limit most are drink within 10minutes of mixing. trust me you dont wanna mix it and leave it a while

At 25 servings per tub (normally rec. 2 servings per day min) it will last all of 12days...theres better stuff out there. I pay £27 for 2.5kg and it lasts for 50 days @ 2 servings per day.

Mate you need loads of carbs and a small amount of protein while riding. Seriously mate the picture on the front says it all!

Its got 33g protein and 2g carbs? Mate, if you need help please feel free to drop me a PM and I can put you onto some very good literature about good cycling nutrition.

If price is the issue, then mix your own energy drink.

  • You really want to be using that AFTER a ride....not during.

I neck 250ml after a tough ride and it stops me emptying the fridge!

I use the Body Fortress stuff from Holland and Barrett but only buy when it's half price (£12.50 for 908g).

And as someone has already pointed out you need to drink the stuff within a short window after mixing.

pies and beer is what fuels mountainbikers

new fangled powder-y stuffs? to the Roadie forum with you!
Everything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer

If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day
